Our 246 well-appointed guestrooms and overwater bungalows are spread across our property throughout the gardens and over the lagoon. Designed with a distinctive Polynesian touch, our rooms are spacious havens, perfect for relaxation.
Each of our guestrooms and bungalows are air conditioned and equipped with a balcony or a terrace, a spacious bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, flat-screen cable TV, direct dial international telephone, private safe, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, 110/220V outlets, an iron and ironing board and Wi-Fi Internet.
Standard Rooms
Each Standard Room measures 28.5 square metres indoor (307 square feet), and comes with a six-square-metre (65-square-foot) private balcony with seating for two. Traditional wooden furnishings and timber floors create a warm, welcoming ambiance, while wide sliding glass doors allow in plenty of natural light. Each room offers twin or king bedding, with a maximum occupancy of two adults and one child (for children under 15 years old, rollaway beds and cribs are available upon request).
Standard Rooms come in three different categories: Standard Rooms, Standard Garden View Rooms with views of our colourful tropical gardens, and Standard Ocean View Rooms with views of the lagoon and Tahiti’s sister island, Moorea.

Superior Rooms
Newly renovated in a fresh Polynesian style, each Superior Room measures 28.5 square metres indoor (307 square feet), and comes with a six-square-metre (65-square-foot) private balcony with seating for two. Renovated and refurbished in 2015, they feature wide sliding glass doors which allow in plenty of natural light. Each room offers twin or king bedding, with a maximum occupancy of two adults and one child (for children under 15 years old, rollaway beds and cribs are available upon request).

Panoramic Rooms
Enjoy spectacular views from your own private haven. Our 60 Panoramic Rooms with Garden or Ocean View are the most spacious of our room categories, measuring 38.5 square metres indoor (414 square feet), plus a nine-square-metre (97-square-foot) balcony. Offering either one king-size or two queen-size beds, they showcase a wide view of our beautiful garden at the ground level and great views of our stunning Lotus infinity pool, with vistas reaching out beyond the lagoon to Moorea Island in the distance.
Panoramic Rooms can host up to three adults, or two adults and two children. They’re among the top choices of accommodation for honeymooners. Panoramic rooms come in two different categories: Panoramic Garden View Rooms (on the ground floor) and Panoramic Ocean View Rooms.

Lagoon Overwater Bungalows
Our newly renovated 13 Junior Suite Overwater Lagoon Bungalows measure 38.5 square metres indoor (414 square feet), with a 12-square-metre (129-square-foot) deck, located near our Lotus infinity pool. These feature a separate lounge and bedroom and can accommodate up to two adults and two children using existing bedding and sofa.

Superior Lagoon Overwater Bungalow
Located at the end of the pontoon, our Overwater Superior Lagoon Bungalows arethe perfect spot to directly access the lagoon, enjoy open views of the sister island Moorea and admire breathtaking sunsets.
These two units measure 37 square-meters indoor (398 square feet), with a 16.5 square-meters (177 square-feet) deck and are located close to our Lotus infinity-pool and gourmet restaurant. These overwater junior suites accommodate up to two adults and one child using existing bedding and sofa.
Decorated in a modern and fresh Polynesian style, they are air-conditionned and feature a separate lounge and bedroom with a king-size bed. The lounge deck is equipped with a table, 2 chairs and 2 deckchairs. The luxurious bathroom offers a bathtub and a separate shower.

Overwater Motu Bungalow
We have eight overwater bungalows built around our own private motu (islet). They measure 37 square metres indoor (398 square feet) and have a spacious 32-square-metre (344-square-foot) deck, situated directly over the lagoon, next to the Lagoonarium and the main pool. These bungalows can host up to two adults and one child using existing bedding.

Antares Suite
Our most spacious suite, the Antarès Suite delivers pure tropical luxury. Decorated in an elegant style, and providing 115 square metres of space, the Antarès Suite includes a bedroom, bathroom, and a separate lounge and private bar furnished to the highest levels of luxury and modernity. The suite offers a stunning view of the hotel grounds, the lagoon and Tahiti’s sister island Moorea. This suite is designed for two people, but can host an additional child under 15 years old, using extra bedding.

Motu Overwater Suite
For the ultimate in luxury and tropical pampering, we offer one 95-square-metre overwater villa (including a 30-square-metre deck). With thatched walls, white linens and wide floor-to-ceiling windows, its charming tropical décor creates a cosy, intimate ambiance, enhanced by its secluded position directly over the lagoon. This bungalow can host up to four adults, or two adults and two children, using the sofa bed and existing bedding.

The InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa offers two stunning freshwater infinity pools. Relax in our 800-square-metre sand-bottomed pool, Le Lotus, with swim-up bar and Jacuzzi, or splash around in Te Tiare’s stunning 1,200-square-metre swimming pool, complete with cascades and Jacuzzi. Le Lotus pool enjoys a more intimate ambiance, plus breathtaking views of Moorea Island.
Excursions
Tahiti is a wonderful island, with hidden treasures in its lush valleys and brilliant lagoons. To get to know the island’s many attractions, we offer several excursions that cover various types of terrain and cater to different fitness levels. You can go on a Circle Island Tour, explore the island by 4×4, opt for an exciting off-road tour or go hiking along one of many beautiful jungle trails. You can also view the island from the air via helicopter tour. In addition, there are jet ski tours, dolphin cruises, whale watching expeditions and deep sea fishing.
If you’ve got extra time, you might even like to embark on a Bora Bora or Moorea half- or full-day excursion, or take time out for a leisurely morning of golf.
The Lagoonarium
Our natural aquarium, also called Fare l’a Reserve, was built to help guests appreciate the beauty, diversity and fragility of our reef environment. It houses a reef ecosystem carefully monitored by a team of scientists, recreating the natural underwater conditions for more than 200 species of sea creatures, including parrot fish, Picasso fish, and angelfish. Here you can learn about a variety of corals, shells and tropical sea creatures.
At 9am and 3pm every day, our Beach Boys feed the fish, making for a fantastic photo opportunity.
Fitness Centre
Our modern Fitness Centre has floor-to-ceiling windows and showcases beautiful views out across the lagoon to Moorea. Open to all in-house guests, it’s equipped with modern cardio and weight machines and free weights, and is open 24 hours a day.
Te Tiare Restaurant
Our authentic Tahitian-style main restaurant Te Tiare enjoys a central position in the resort. Featuring an open kitchen, it overlooks one of our stunning infinity pools and the pool waterfalls, with the spectacular silhouette of Moorea island’s peaks in the background.
Open at 6:00 a.m. for Breakfast, the menu offers light, summer dishes all day and serves carefully prepared dinners with local specialities until 09:30p.m.
Dinner shows take place on Wednesday and Friday nights on the restaurant's stage, and our extensive menu ranges from light snacks and salads to freshly caught fish and top cuts of meat imported from New Zealand. We set up a healthy salad bar for lunch every day (except Sunday), or you can choose your own ingredients and have a tailor-made stir-fried dish wok-fired to your specifications.
Le Lotus Restaurant
Le Lotus Restaurant is the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa’s stunning overwater gourmet restaurant. Located next to our sand-bottomed swimming pool, this dreamy setting allows diners to fully appreciate the beauty of neighbouring Moorea.
A light lunch is served every day from 12pm to 2pm, so you can take in views of Moorea during daylight hours. Come for creative gourmet meals from 6.00pm to 9.30pm each evening, served up in an elegant and intimate atmosphere. The menu is complemented by a selection of fine French wines.
Lotus Swim-up Bar
The Lotus Swim-Up Bar is the only one of its kind in Tahiti. Our tropical cocktails and smoothies are best-sellers here, but we offer an ice-cold drink for everyone, with imported beers, French champagne, fruit juices and more.
Tiki Bar
Tiki Bar is our main bar, located just next to Te Tiare restaurant. A popular rendezvous for hotel guests as well as local residents, it hosts live entertainment from Wednesday to Saturday, creating a lively atmosphere. We offer a wide range of tropical beverages, imported spirits, beers and wines – sip a cocktail straight out of a coconut husk or refresh with a fresh juice as the sun dips behind the peaks of Moorea.
Lobby Bar Terrace
This stylish lounge is the perfect venue to enjoy the best sunset views, for after-dinner drinks or guests arriving later in the evenings. You can choose from aperitifs, cocktails and premium champagnes in a refined atmosphere, enjoying panoramic views of the lagoon and Moorea. The Lobby Bar Terrace offers a menu of light meals and snacks.
Tahitian Brunch
Appreciated by our guests and locals alike, is our Sunday brunch buffet at the Te Tiare Restaurant, complete with a wide range of traditional Tahitian delicacies. Indulge in the fantastic ambience and lively Tahitian music and live dance show.

We invite you to enjoy a delicious buffet and a new traditional dance show performed by the troupe Hei Tahiti at Te Tiare restaurant.

At 7:15 p.m., let yourself be amazed by our new show "The thousand-legged canoe" which pays tribute to the cultural heritage of Pira'e and highlights the sailors' arrival on the Taaone beach, today famous for its va'a races. The dance troupe will board the thousand-legged canoe to tell you the coastline's tales and legends, to the sound of the artists' melodies who made and still make the glory of the city of Pira'e.
